The picture does not do this justice. Sometime dog tag jewelry can look cheap in real life. This is not the case here. The chain is basic ball chain however the motel cross cutout that lays separate is gorgeous. My finance loves it. The cross is a separate piece of metal and can swing freely from the necklace, which can be a little bit annoying, as it sometimes pokes. Also, the piece that holds the tag and cross on the chain broke after about a month.
