Bought this for my dear wife. I knew she have been looking for Swarovski crystal jewelry recently, but at Swarovski stores I didn't find any that are pretty enough to justify their rather expensive price. When I found this item I was surprised at its cheap price and nice design. The only thing I have to check was that the name says "Swarovski Elements". How is that different from Swarovski Jewelry? I google it and found out that "Swarovski Elements" are made by jewelry design companies that use Swarovski Crystals. Sounds good to me, but since its my first time buying jewelry gift online, I still need some convincing. The pictures look good but will the real product look good when it arrives? My confidence was boosted by the seller's "Money-back Satisfaction Guarantee" policy and the good feedbacks from their customers. When the item arrived my wife was so happy that when I tried to explain to her the "Swarovski Elements" part, she didn't even hear me, too busy trying it on. I need to start this off by saying I am a guy who knows next to nothing about jewelry. I've just begun educating myself a little bit, but I really don't know much. And the ladies in my life remind me I really don't have good taste when it comes to it.
For Valentine's Day this year I was getting my longtime girlfriend to help me out a little bit since this is one of the few areas where I am just absolutely clueless on what to get her. I've got her bad girl leather boots style down, but when she wants to look pretty or elegant I could never guess what she would choose to wear for fancy jewelry and what she would despise. I noticed this one and found it rather elegant myself, so I sent it to her about a month and a half ago in an email with a bunch of other options just to test the waters and learn her tastes. She responded that this one was 'absolutely stunning' and her 'number one favourite.' There had to have been 20 pieces in there, and this one apparently jumped out at both of us. I ordered it about a week later after reviewing her other favourites.
It arrived surprisingly fast and I decided to open up the box and get it ready for presenting. They had protected the crystal with a cushion wrapped tightly around it to prevent even the tiniest scratch in transport, which I thought was very thoughtful of them. Once I got the wrappings off I was really surprised by it. The crystal is extremely bright, and although there is a silver backing holding it in place, it appears clear. The facets really make it shine and I was rather surprised by how long I could look at it. Very minute turns of the wrist make it sparkle like crazy. The diamond-like crystals don't distract from the brilliant shine of the large blue crystal at all, which surprised me. They are twinkling accents that guide the eye to the main spectacle of the large crystal. I really have to hand it to this jeweler: this is a seriously gorgeous piece and I can't believe the quality I received for the price I paid. I have neither liked nor understood pretty jewelry (still don't) but this necklace honestly is so good looking I stared at it for at least five minutes before tucking it away for when my girlfriend arrived.
She has since received it and hasn't stopped wearing it! I've caught her staring at it and smiling to herself as well. This one's a definite winner. If you're thinking about this as a gift and it's the recipient's style of jewelry, I'd say go for it. Worth every penny.Gorgeous! By Z. Post
Buying these colored crystal pendants on line, relying on the advertised display (my monitor has calibrated color settings for Photoshop work), and no evidence of serious quality control, is a real gamble. You win sometime and lose often. I won with this pendant.
Within the last thirty days I had ordered five different crystal pendants for Christmas gifts. Only two of those five were as pictured and good, the other three were unacceptable and were returned. It is a pity and a waste of time and money.
This particular crystal, however, has rich color, clearly defined facets and is polished to high brilliance, The design of the pendant is elegant and appealing. A lovely piece that makes one feel good to gift it.
