I ordered 2 of these to convert 2 pocket watches into pendant watches, and these clasps work perfectly. They don't come loose until you open the clasp, and they enhance the look of the pendant much more than a plain large jump ring. They are strong as well. Just wish they came in a gold-tone as well and maybe one size smaller. The Customer Service is out of this world GREAT! A computer mix-up shipped half my order and Men's Jewelery Store was right on it and made it right with lightening speed. No joke. I even bought 2 more of these clasps for other pendants.
