Taos Trading shipped it quickly and it was packaged nicely.
The metal (bronze, appears authentic) is slightly darker than pictured, but it is finely detailed as described. It is about the size of a quarter, perhaps a bit smaller, and of good weight for the size.
Overall, I am very pleased with this purchase, and I would buy from Taos Trading in the future.

Either way, necklace is worth less than $5. Its so cheap and made mostly of copper I"m assuming, because it started turning green on the area that contacts my skin directly. I wanted to return this item, but didn't make it within the SEVEN day window you have to return necklace. Will steer clear of Taos Trading in the future.
Heavily Oxidized By JewelBug This is a beautifully designed piece, and I really like it. I gave 4 stars instead of 5 for the following reasons: The piece is very heavily oxidized---far more so than in the online photo. (I'm going to try to rub some of it off with a NON-TREATED cloth.) Secondly, while it appears that the problem with the bale being attached front-to-back has been fixed, and the bale is attractive looking, it is way too small in my opinion. I had planned to wear this tree of life on a black silk cord I have, which has metal caps on the ends with a bit of chain and a lobster claw clasp. The end caps are by no means enormous, but no way fitting through this bale. Fortunately, I have a 14K Rose Gold chain, which looks lovely with the bronze. Just be aware that this bale is rather small. Otherwise, its a great purchase and a very beautiful tree design!!
