I was seeking a necklace to put a medical alert tag on. This is a nice necklace that turned out to be a little shorter than I really needed. I marked it to three stars because of the roughness on the links. I expected a smoother overall finish but there is a definite rough feel as you run your fingers over the links. I haven't worn it for any length of time to determine if this would make it annoying to wear. It does look nice and comes in a small velvet bag for storage.
