This chain is big bold and heavy. If you are into chains for a subtle look, you may want to look elsewhere. I bought this from TK's site. I have several of their products and can say they are top quality and hold up very well over time. The links in this chain alternate between shiny and polished making it very unique, it stands apart from the usual array of mens link chains. I have the 24' chain and do not need to open the clasp to remove it. I will say that this chain is built to last and the clasp is strong. If you are looking for a bold and somewhat versatile looking chain, this is a good choice.
