When I had first ordered it, part of the chain was noticeably tarnished. I emailed Amazon to get a replacement. The information they sent for returning the chain was easy and I didn't get charged to return it through UPS. The replacement came within less than a week. The chain is very nice with a good shine you'd expect from stainless steel. They give different options for size but for most men I'd recommend the 24" as it ends comfortably away from the neck and remains understated.
