I ordered this chain to replace a poor quality chain that had tarnished for a St. Christopher's pewter ( I'm guessing) medal with dark blue inlay, also inexpensive quality but the medallion itself held it's original purchase appearance very well & I wanted to keep wearing it. When I saw this new chain on Amazon I decided to order it but at the purchase price of $22.00 I really did not expect to be happy with it when it arrived. To my surprise, the chain is quite stylish & the quality is definitely obvious. It makes my medallion now look like a high quality piece of men's jewelry. I would highly recommend this inexpensive stainless steel wheat neckchain (not necklace!) to anyone for any man. The wheat chain design is masculine in appearance & diameter, in no way is it dainty or feminine. Men order it for yourselves or ladies order it for your man. They will love it! I know I do mine! i expected the necklace somewhat lighter and brighter and i wasn't aware of the wheat-chain shape, it's round,...but iam content and my husband too who wears it 24/7. i haven't seen any men so far with this kind of necklace so i find it special. the quality prooves so far (a few months) good, the closing-part looks a bit simple, but it holds.
i personally looked for something of a lighter silver color, this one is a little dark and gives a heavy (a bit gangsta ;-b) look and i wanted first place something less noticable and thinner, so i don't find the picture they show too accurate.Got for my boyfriend...even his mom loved it! I got this necklace as an anniversary present and my boyfriend loved it. He hasn't taken it off since I got it for him which shows how durable it is and when his mom said even she liked it because it was classy enough to be worn, i new it was a good choice, especially for the price :)
