I bought this ankh for my boyfriend's mother. She asked for an ankh necklace for her 80th birthday (which surprised me a little, but hey, if that what the Seniors are into, that's cool). Very nicely done sterling silver ankh necklace with a very delicate chain. I agree with the first reviewer, if you switch out the chain to a heavier one or a leather cord, it would be very suitable for a guy. The hanging loop is oblong and roomy enough for a much thicker chain. In fact, the hanging loop is very well done, integrated into the top of the ankh; the loop is not just a metal circle welded to the top. The ankh that I received had a nice color, but was hollow in the back, thin and light weight. The pictures do not show this, and I would not have purchased it knowing that. Also, it was slightly bent inside of the box upon opening. I immediately re-packaged and returned it, receiving a refund after many days. I would only recommend it for displaying where it can set flat and not need to be moved around or handled.
