I was a bit weary since couldnt find in description what type of metal this charm would be....It is 925 sterling silver and very cute. the crystal ball is very shiny and bling. the charm is a good size to be noticed and can be worn everyday. I was concerned with the chain which appeared thin; however, I have slept in this and showered in necklace and it is holding up quite well. It does tangle a bit. I am impressed with this necklace and feel that it is a good deal all things considered. Of course the predator symbol is awesome! thanks to Amazon
